I hosted a little creative get together over the weekend for some dear artistic friends that have attended my events in the past. It was so lovely to just sit, create, laugh and really get to know all these amazing women. They are all so talented. . .

Everyone brought a dessert to share. . .
Can you guess which doll brought these?
None other than the The Queen of Cupcakes herself. . .
This lovely bracelet was given to me by Jamie of Simply Me Art, who joined us as well. It was so fabulous getting to watch her creative process as she designed her pieces. You can tell how much love and attention she puts into each and every little jewel. She could barely complete a necklace before we were all hovering over her trying to purchase it. I, along with the other ladies, went a little crazy and bought some of her fabulous shiny baubles. I am so excited that she will be here at our Artistic Affaire Deux to sell her goodies.
I also spent a bunch of time chatting and conspiring with this and this and this doll about some future teaching possibilities. They are all such incredible artists that I can't wait to scoop them up and hopefully share them with everyone. . .
AND just in case you thought I didn't get anything creative accomplished myself. . .
I started to work on Carol Wingert's Many Faces of White Album Kit. I am STILL amazed at all the goodies packed into this kit. A little bit of this and a little bit of that to get your vintage heart all a flutter. . .
I also finished my tags for the Summer Tag Swap that sweet Sherry is hosting.
Speaking of tags, I must be off to the post office and get my Monday morning rolling. Wishing you a week full of joy. . .
