Come join us for an exciting all day workshop in my home taught by the talented Robin Sanchez. We will be constructing a fabulous vintage wire cage doll to adorn all your treasured keepsakes. Just like every true “market” collector, Flea Market Bella loves shopping for trinkets to proudly display on her handmade wire skirt. We will be using a vintage tea cup, wire wrapping, vintage finds and specialized techniques as Robin guides us step by step in creating your very own unique wire cage doll assemblage. Standing at approximately 12 inches tall this striking figure will earn a proud place in your home.
This special workshop will include ~
An "all day" workshop of instruction to complete your doll, smallclass size, delicious luncheon, drinks, coffee, tea and snacks to keep your creative energy flowing, exclusive “Affaire” style seating with your favorite friends, and of course, those special touches Artistic Affaire is known for. . .
Our Instructor:
Robin Sanchez lives in Vista, CA and is a mom to three grown children and two grandchildren with another on the way. Robin has a job that she loves as a Bookkeeper and Administrative Assistant for a large senior retirement community but her true passion is altered art and collecting vintage finds. As a child, Robin spent many Saturdays following her Grandfather around looking through junk at the swap meets in Orange. He sparked her passion for everything “old”. Her interest in creating began as a young child sitting next to her mom watching her make the latest craft. She taught her to sew at the age of 10 and Robin was hooked. These two people are Robin’s inspiration and reason for her love to collect & create. Creating to Robin is as natural as breathing.
