I am so excited to share that my October Event last year, An Artistic Affaire Deux, is featured in the current edition of Somerset Life. I just feel so humble and honored to be given the opportunity to write about my journey and the reasons I began hosting events.
This issue, as with every Stampington publication, is full of inspiration, artistic creations and eye candy galore. It is a feast for the heart and soul. So many incredible artists are featured on every page, including a couple amazing women that have taught for me before, Kristen Robinson and Carol Wingert, and even one who is teaching this September (shhh!!). There is also a lovely photograph included in the article taken by Becky Novacek of all the sweeties exchanging their art pieces. Thank you Becky!
AND, as if all that isn't enough, my craft totes are also featured in the Things We Love In Life Section. I just can't thank Jenny Doh and all the talented ladies who worked on the layout enough for including me in their wonderful world. My cup runneth over. This will be a momento that will go into my memory chest without a doubt. Even my teenager thinks I am a little (only a little) bit cool now!
I am a big believer in sharing the love so I decided that a special give-a-way is in order. For Artistic Affaire Printemps, I had one of those last minute creative ideas to make silk flower balls to hang along with the traditional tissue paper pom poms I make for every event.
When I realized the time and expense that went into making just one of these puppies, my mojo stopped at three. You know how those crazy ideas go. . .
I would like to gift one of these lovelies along with a copy of the current Somerset Life as a HUGE thank you to all of the amazing women who have supported me and my dreams. Without all of you, none of this ride would have any meaning. Miss Kate, of course, will pick a winner this Monday shall we say? Make sure to leave a comment if you would like to play.
Congratulations on being featured in my favorite magazine!!

Hi Kim~
I am always so deeply moved by what you create! Not just your events or totes, etc., but also the relationships you cultivate w/ the women around you! I think Somerset is the lucky one to be able to find & feature YOU!
I would LOVE to have one of these to hang in my bedroom to inspire me as I move forward in my dream of finding my retreat property where I will take in teens from the foster care system. Helping them turn their lives around. And creating retreats & workshops for Mothers & Daughters to learn about each other & connect in a deeper way. Thank you for all that you do Kim! You create such a magical environment for women to come & create & explore their artistic side & connect beautifully w/ others! I know each life is changed after one of your events....& then trickles down into their world....Beautiful!!!

Hi Kim, Congratulations on a lovely feature article. It was great to hear the story behind your magical events. I think you've perfected it with those hours of tea parties. Isn't it amazing how God weaves all of those seemingly insignificant events into our talent base and they come out later in a new and different form?
Please enter me in your giveaway for that lovely floral pompom ball. It's beautiful. Thank you!
Happy 4th!
