As many of my close friends already know, 2 weeks ago my family lost a wonderful man. Fred had been in our lives as an amazing grandfather to my children, significant other to my Mom and step-father to me for 28 years. While I don't usually share too much information here about the yucky stuff in life, the loss of Fred has had a significant impact on all of us. We are still healing and not a day goes by that I don't think of him and that he isn't with us anymore. Fred was an amazing man and I could go on for paragraphs about his specialness, however, he was also a very private man. So out of respect to him and my Mom, who is equally as private ~ I am just going to say goodbye and that I am so honored that he blessed our lives for what now feels like much too short a period of time. . .
So sorry Kim to hear of your loss~~Praying for and your family at this difficult time.

I am so sorry for your loss. I have lost many people in my life and I have learned one thing. You always carry them in your heart. There isn't anything anyone can do to lighten your burden, however, I pray that you find moments of peace as you go through your grief.

So sorry to hear of your loss. I myself just lost my beautiful Starry Girl, and while the loss of a beloved kitty is not near the loss of a father, those that love us and whom we love make our lives so rich, and their passing always leaves such a huge gap in our hearts.

I'm so sorry, Kim. What a special man he must have been. It's clear that you love him very much. And there is no greater legacy that any of us can leave, than love.
