Yesterday, I coerced (it wasn't that difficult) Cheryl to head down to San Diego with me to attend Lori Chandler's 15th Anniversary for her fabulous shop, Vignettes. I have been to Vignette's a couple of times but when I read words like "Parisian", "Coco Chanel" and "Soiree", I knew it would be worth the trip if only to take in her incredible decor. I have to say that my expectations were met and more! There were touches of Paris everywhere from amazing staged armoires to over the top dressers filled with scrumptious treats.
Can you imagine picking a beautiful Eiffel Tower cookie from this display? Too gorgeous to eat!
To say I am beyond inspired for Moulin Rouge would be an understatement. I wanted to just pack it all up and go straight to the hotel! Speaking of which, did I mention that Vignettes is one of the stops on our Moulin Rouge Flea Market Expedition? Did I also mention that Lori is having delicious Parisian treats for the girls? Oh my! She is just as lovely on the inside as the outside ~ I just can't wait to play there with the can can girls. . .
Of course, a trip to San Diego wouldn't be complete without a visit to Paper Tales and my dear friends Michelle, Helle and Karin. This shop is just the meca of all that is scrapbooking and mixed media. You can't help but smile walking through those cheery doors. Oh ~ did I mention that Paper Tales is on the tour TOO! Hee Hee. . .
Somehow these girls always make me feel loved and happy. I mean I guess who wouldn't with their warm hearts and free spirits, right?
Lovely friends and artists around every corner. I feel so blessed in this beautiful world of art. . .
It was great to see you Kim! So excited the bus tour will stop at Paper Tales. I'm going to work on some extra special goodies for it.

I feel like I hit the jackpot finding your blog. Its very early in the morning here in freezing cold CT, but my heart is already racing at the thought of calling my BFF in Montana and asking her to meet me for your Flea Market trip. What a good morning treat this has been - thank you ~ Dee
