Please join us for an entire day of creativity as we are guided through four inspiring projects taught by Candice Carpenter, Emily Falconbridge, Kim Henkel and Lori Marie. These amazing artists will be here to share their many talents on what better day than National Scrapbook Day! If you yearn for a day of inspiration, shopping, yummy meals, treats and laughter, all in the intimate and cozy atmosphere of my home, then this is the event for you! Here are the details:

Creativity Fairy Party Hat by Candice Carpenter
Every now and then we all need that extra burst of inspiration. . .and I have just the fix for you. Please join me in creating your own Creativity Fairy Party Hat. This little angel will help you through those blah moments with a flutter of her glittered wings and a whisk of her wand. This hat is in the shape of a traditional party hat. . .complete with 9 feet of pink and ivory festooning. . .and is a fabulous addition to your studio decor or creative corner. You will receive a perfect party hat pattern, which you can use again and again, along with some very vintage inspired patterns, embellishments and clip art. All fabulous clip art sued in this project was designed by the AMAZING Hope Wallace, creator and designer of Paper Relics. Also included are some delicious foof-a-bet sticker letters, Heidi Swapp ledger chipboard letters and fine ribbons galore. This party hat measures to be about 12 inches tall. There will be a surprise bonus project included with this class that will make you want to get up a do a twirl.

There's No Place Like Home Wall Art by Lori Marie
. . .won't you be my neighbor? Dust off those thinking caps, buckle on your pretty little hard hats and get ready to join me in creating your very own dream home. Each lovely lady will get her own colorful stash of felt and other materials needed to assemble a one of a kind wall hanging. I will walk you through the steps and supply a variety of templates for you to choose the perfect combination of you favorite girlie details. . .doors and windows and curtains and such and maybe even a tiny Bird to perch in the tree. You are limited only by your imagination. So keep an eye out and jot down some notes to help keep track of all the special little details that make a home a home. Click those heels and repeat after me: "there's no place like home!"

Cupcake Dreams and Birthday Wishes by Kim Henkel
We have all found ourselves from time to time writing sad poems such as "This card took skill and talent, and dedication to create, and DAYS of thought and craftsmanship -- It's no wonder that it's late" inside a belated birthday card! This class is designed to rescue you. Those long winded belated apologies will be a distant memory as we create a yummy felt birthday reminder book that will help you (and me) track all those important and not forgotten birthday occasions. This darling little book is full of everything delicious: colorful felt, fancy stitching techniques, and a bit of sparkle and frills! It will be a keepsake any birthday lover would be proud of. Here's wishing you sweet dreams filled with cupcakes and a cherry on top!

What could be sweeter than the song of a bird? A birdy book, perhaps? Create an artistic and oh-so-pretty vintage album to keep special photos safe or use as a journal. We will play with several fun and messy techniques to create this charming book that can be used in a variety of other crafting endeavors!
