Milagros Blanc by Teresa McFayden
A home consists of many elements and heartfelt things that make it all that it is--your icon for retreat and safety. Let's protect and honor your safe haven with a sacred Milagros using metal for strength, wire for safety, jewels for adornment and velvet for comfort. A locket will be added to the piece for inserting intentions, affirmations, prayers, photos or whatever your heart desires. You will love the beginner metalsmithing techniques covered in this special workshop created just for this Event!
* Please note that the darling heart shaped locket pictured above is available for purchase at a cost of $6.00 as an addition to your Milagros. The locket must be pre-ordered at the time of registration and will be here for you the day of class. If you prefer, you can bring your own locket to complete this project. Just be sure it has a ring for attaching and is at least 25mm in diameter.

Heirloom House Vignettes by Amy Hanna
Come play house with me and create a canvas full of forgotten treasures. We will use bits of vintage ledger paper, vintage wall paper, paints, crayons, wax, glitter, vintage velvet ribbon, pens and pencils to create your special memento dedicated to your home. We will build your house and give you a good foundation to design a world of your own. This class is based on one of my favorite things to create. You can see some more of these my favorites in the November- December 2008 Issue of Somerset Studios.
Amy Hanna is an adventure seeker, a lost treasure hunter, a mother, a wife, a dreamer… A collector of all things old, dirty, detailed and interesting especially if they are from France. She has a love for God and sharing with others. She is currently a Bonne Vivant for Somerset Life and has just finished her first book titled, Rejuvenated Jewels, which can be pre-ordered from her Blog at amyhanna.typepad.com.
Is registration full yet? I am coming to California for a class in San Luis Obispo with Diana Frey on March 28. Thought I was flying in on the 27th but, if I push it back????? How far are you from Santa Barabara? That's where I will fly into.
